** SPECIAL NOTICES **
Attention
Regimental Students:
We are in need of
watch standers for the summer period from June 29th through August 31st. The pay
is as follows: MOOD: $12.00/hour; AMOOD: $11.00/hour. If you have several days to several weeks that you would be
available, please contact the Chief Mate, Brendan McAvoy, at:
brendan.mcavoy@mma.edu
as well as at:
BMcAvoy.Mmatssom09@SkyFile.com. Include
all your contact information as well as the dates you are available. Students
will be selected on a first come/first serve basis. The Academy continues to implement the SIS (Student Information System) in stages. This summer the Sea-Campus Portal will be active and up-to-date ONLY for purposes of notifying the school about the student's health insurance. The portal should be available for this purpose after July 1, 2009. After that time every student must sign onto the portal and provide MMA with their health insurance preference and required information.
The Financial and Financial Aid information for each student will NOT be accessible on the Sea-Campus Portal this summer. Hopefully sometime after the start of the fall term that information will be available to each student when signing on. This means that this summer financial information will only be available on paper. Students who have applied for financial aid have already received, or will receive, their award letter in the mail. Bills for fall term will be mailed out sometime in July. Students and families should review their bills upon receipt and arrange for necessary financing. All financing plans and/or payments should be in place by August 15.
All offices appreciate each family's patience during this entire SIS implementation process!! Thank you.
Summer Fitness Room Hours: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday thru Friday. Closed Saturday and Sunday. Use of these rooms is reserved for MMA students, faculty, staff, and community members who hold a current membership card for the summer 2009 season. Community members are welcome to purchase a summer membership ($75.00) between 9:30 am and 10:00 am M-F in the main Athletic Office. Single day passes are no longer available. Due to necessary maintenance, the pool is not scheduled to open during the summer of 2009.
Dining Services Summer Hours of Operation will be posted weekly on the HERE.
